3D DESIGN

The ability to design and create in 3D allows design to create realistic design renders that can be used in place of samples and in marketing materials. Once created from a Pattern DXF, various tools from renders toTech Pack Files and Bill of Materials can be exported for many uses. It is a great tool to increase sustainability in the design and development process by reducing samples. Files can even be imported into animation software to add movement, store building software to configure floor sets, and used on websites in place of actual garments if samples are delayed, The addition of 3D Design as a new skill is proven ever useful as well to continue the design and development process during shutdowns due to pandemic or natural disaster and showcase conceptual ideas in an easier to read format than traditional flat sketches. 3D Design softwear such as Browzwear or CLO is changing the apparel industry and its outputs.

In her time at Under Armour, Noelle headed the apparel design component of incorporating 3D Design software into the concept and production process, learning and becoming proficient in both CLO 3D Design and Browzwear(V Stitcher). She was critical in creating SOPs for this implementation and utilizing 3D for conceptualization of new styles.
