Although a commercial designer by day, Noelle very much enjoys participating in the process of slow fashion. Hand making garments in her home studio allows her to remain creative outside of a production calendar, factory limitations, and retail margins. When the only brief is from one’s self, detail and craftsmanship can be afforded in every stitch. Although an avid sewer, Noelle enjoys hand knitting of all of the ways to create slow fashion, a craft that was in part inspired by 5 cold east coast winters.
